The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury, Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the age 84 years. Wife of the late George Serroul. Born in Hanmer in 1931. Survived by her children Doug (Sandra) of Capetown, Africa, Carol Ann (Fred) of St-Albert, AB and Brian (Maria Fernanda) of Markham. Cherished grandmother of Tracy, Michael, Christopher, Jason, Jennifer, Sean, Patrick, Alexandra, Nicolas and great-grandmother of Amanda, Krystal, Kyle, Jaxson, Logan, Jordan, Rylee and Sebastian. Predeceased by her parents Albert and Alma Forget. Loving sister of Yolande Lelièvre of Verner and Guy Forget (Claudette) of Ottawa. Predeceased by her siblings Jeannette Anglehart, Zita Walker (Floyd) of Sudbury, Moril Forget (Hilda) of Hamilton and Conrad Forget of Azilda. Survived by her brother and sisters-in-law all in Cape Breton, NS. She will be missed by many special nieces and nephews. She was a member of “La Fédération des Femmes Canadiennes Françaises”, Golden Age Club of Hanmer, La Vie Montant of Hanmer, the Lupus Association of Sudbury, Valley Arthritis Support Group and a retiree from Sears Canada. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570 St-Joseph St, Hanmer, Monday, October 3, 2016 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St-Jacques Church, Hanmer. In lieu of flowers donations can be made (by cheque only) to the Lupus Association and Arthritis Society.
