It is with great sadness that we say good-bye to Leanna Malenfant, who passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North on Sunday, January 8th, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Alfred Malenfant, dear daughter of Leo and Margaret Wahamaa (both pre-deceased), she will be sadly missed by loving sisters Susan Kivioja (Allan), Fenwick, Ontario, Paula Helmer (Barry), Azilda, Ontario; Kathryn Wahamaa (Tony Rees), Lake Errock, BC and brother Warren Wahamaa, Azilda and many other family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life for Leanna will be held at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury Friday, May 19th, 2017 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. Family will be receiving relatives and friends after 12:30. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society (Sudbury-Manitoulin District) would be greatly appreciated.
